In both Chinese and English. Book protected in a clear plastic jacket. Binding is light green cloth with gilt titles in Chinese and English. In perfect condition, no previous owner's names or marks. Known as P'u of the North whereas the famous Chang Dai-chien was known as Chang of the South. Includes a biography of P'u Hsin-yu, alias the hermit of the western mountain with photos of him at work. Lauded as "The Last Great Scholar Painter" due to his accomplishments in the Three Perfections of Chinese art, poetry, calligraphy, and painting. A very scarce book.
