Greensboro, North Carolina: North Carolina Friends Historical Society and the Quaker Collection of the Guilford College Library, 1976. Softcover. Very Good. First edition. Octavo. vii, 48pp. Printed gray stapled wrapper very good with some darkening and paint spots on rear wrap. The only Quaker governor of the Carolinas who served from 1695-1697 and author of an important early account of the colony, "A New Description" (London, 1707).
