Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has minor loss to rear, shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped. Educational Issues of To-Day edited by W.R. Niblett. John (later Lord) Wolfenden was headmaster of Uppingham and Shrewsbury schools, and became the Vice Chancellor of Reading University in 1950. He became widely known as Chairman of the Committee on Homosexual Offences and Prostitution which produced The Wolfenden Report.

A signed and dated letter from the author is taped to the front paste down. A typescript foolscap note by W.H.Burston, with the heading The Public Schools, is laid in. Light blue cloth-covered boards, black titles to spine, black motif to front board, 111 pages. Condition notes: Boards rubbed and faded, spine darkened, previous owner's name etc to front free endpaper, dust spotting to external top edges of text block. The taping in of the author's letter is a mixed blessing, as it has made rather a mess of the paste down.
