With 4 fldg maps and seven plates Commander W.J.S.Pullen of the Royal Navy went in search of Franklin in the years 1852-1854 aboard H.M.S. North Star. This expedition was one of the least known of the Franklin searches until Rear Admiral Hugh Pullen ( a descendant) of the Royal Canadian Navy brought it to public attention.
