Simply put, an altogether falling apart book which holds only the value of the content: A Greek soldier and writer as well as a disciple of Socrates, Xenophon, joined Cyrus the Younger in an attack on Persia. After the death of Cyrus, Xenophon led the Greek troops to the Black Sea, an ordeal he recounted in Anabasis. Greek text, english notes. The boards have separated, the leather has dried up and fallen off with the exception of a few remaining pieces on the spine. One flyleaf is also loose.
