William Heinemann London 1952 Vg/Fair (clipped dj is intact but reinforced with browned and grubby tape round all edges and also on spine, one small clean tear at head of spine and tiny area of loss, clean red cloth with gilt lettering and black title panel on spine, gilt facsimile signature front board and black title panel with gilt surround and lettering, binding firm and pages clean, ink gift inscription front free endpaper) 12mo 116pp. First edition with wrapper designed by Cecil Beaton. Includes the cast list of the first performance at the Opera House, Manchester, uly 15th 1952.
