Tall 8vo, black quarter cloth with silver stenciled lettering on spine over red boards, archival mylar-protected dust jacket (unclipped) by Bob Eggleton, red endpapers, 420 pages. Gregory "Greg" Bear (born 1951) is an American writer, winner of Nebula and Hugo awards, and illustrator best known for wide-ranging science fiction. His work has covered themes of galactic conflict, artificial universes, accelerated evolution, and consciousness and cultural practices (QUEEN OF ANGELS). Apart from a faint black verticle streak on the front board, this would be a Very Fine copy: tight, bright, clean as to cloth and dust jacket (unclipped).
