"An Ancient Theme Brought Up to Date," it sez; near as I can make out, the play takes place in modern-day Persia, and has something to do with choosing a bride for the King. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the front pastedown, "To ------- / A confirmation gift / and God's blessing / upon you." Signed by Author .
