Red cloth covered boards have a small depiction of an aircraft carrier in battle on the front panel, a blue title block with gilt text and decorations on spine, top edge dyed red. Table of contents, XIV chapters. List of Illustrations of both drawings and Official U.S. Navy Photographs (b/w). Differentiated ep's. (see illustrations) Book has worn extremities, fon ffep, but no other notations. There is some spots on both front and rear panels. Book is tight and square. FlatSIGNED by author in blue fountain pen. NOT a dedication copy! Rare book in this state! Bookseller's Inventory # 230458.
