Has a map at the back of the book, titled: The Ancestry and Descendants of Queen Victoria, excluding the members of the Royal Family not mentioned in the text. This is the first major biography of Queen Victoria in more than 40 years; in writing it Lady Longford has had unrestricted access to the Royal Archives and has drawn on unpublished passages from Queen Victoria's celebrated Journals as well as many private collections. Dark red cloth hc. with gilt lettering on front and spine. 4 small tears on the top edge of the jacket repaired with clear tape.; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .
