*The Queen's Awards 1947 -The winners of the second annual detective short story contest sponsored by Ellery Queen Mystery magazine and edited by Ellery Queen. Stories by H. F. Heard, Carter Dickson, Quentin Patrick, etc... Older volume, yellow cloth covers- a red printed crown logo on the front, the spine - titling in the same pinkish red color somewhat faded, the books edges are worn although not to the boards.... Some darkening on the top of the book..more on the Top & the edge of the book, l Binding is fairly tight, not perfect, printed in the United States.. On beautiful, very cottony deckle Edge pages .. The book is not perfect does have some flaws. Glue reaction inside book they are probably all that way. .. A little bit of soiling -covers & Page edges..
