First Edition, 1916, Nicely Inscribed by George Wharton James in black fountain pen on the half title page, 262 pages plus 4 pages of advertisements including a page of Mark Twain and GWJ titles available for sale. Book is at least Very Good Plus,, very clean green publisher's cloth with bright gilt title block on front board with author's name, also bright gilt title to spine, small rub to front board, light wear corners and to head and heel of spine else fine. Tight and square with no other previous owner bookplate or writing. Very clean and protected with a clear custom jacket. Most presentable inscribed First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.
