Edinburgh: Peter Brown, William Hunter, 1823. pp 323 In a fine binding of polished calf, elaborate gilt decoration featuring a radiant poet's lyre device; marbled edges, beige end papers. Frontispiece engraved portrait of Lord Byron. The binding is tight, the pages crisp and clean apart from some light staining to the index pages to the rear of the book. Ownership inscription B T Turner. A very attractive volume. Near Fine 1823
