The RA Expeditions, Heyerdahl, Thor. Published by Doubleday & Company, New York, 1971. Book Club Edition. Translated by Patricia Crampton. 8vo up to 9½" tall., 341pp. with color photographs. Dark green cloth boards with gilt titles; mapped endpapers. Contents are in fine condition without markings, tears or folds; light rubbing to board edges. Unclipped dustjacket has ruffling to edges and light rubbing. Heyerdahl's account of his expedition to cross the Atlantic in a boat made of papyrus reeds to prove that the Egyptians could have done it centuries earlier.
