Protected, price-clipped dust jacket is bright and clean with Newbery award medal on front cover (awarded in 1944), mild shelf wear to edges and spine ends. Book is firm in binding, illustrated endpapers, former owner's bookplate on front paste down, crisp interior. Illustrated throughout. A nice copy of a children's classic. Free of any markings, not ex-library. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 128 pages .
