Very Good. 0x0x0. 1984 signed and inscribed copy, News of Osaka Micropaleontologists (Osaka, Japan), 7 1/8 x 10 1/8 inches tall paperbound in blue printed covers, copiously illustrated with full-page black-and-white photographs and maps, index, 148 pp. At the top margin of the front cover, ink signature of prior owner and Radiolaria specialist Dr. Stanley A. Kling (1934-2021). At the top margin of the title page, inscription and signatures of both authors. Otherwise, a near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked. ~SP11~ [1.5P] A careful catalog of the radiolarian assemblage in the area of the Nankai Trough in the Northwest Pacific. Some 241 species-level radiolarian taxa are described from each one of 21 samples from the studied area. The occurrence of each species is charted and illustrated by photographs using a scanning electron microscope.
