About This Item
Cleveland, Ohio: Arthur H. Clark Company, 1930. Hardcover. Very Good. A work of 328 pages with dark blue covers and still sharp gilt lettering and borders on the spine. Top edge of the pages are gilt, which is still bright, other page edges are deckled. American Waterways Series II, stated on the third page of the book. This contradicts Clark & Brunet page 84 which states that American Waterways Series II is unstated. Perhaps someone removed that page from the copy they used to compile An Americana Century 1902-2002. 1254 copies printed. The work includes much information on the rise and development of the logging industry. The book has wear at the head and tail of the spine and at corners. When you open the book there is a 1/4 of an inch split at the bottom. Tissue frontispieces ahead of photographs. The volume is protected in a clear archival quality protective cover, easily removeable if desired. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box! Quite a slice of American history! Perhaps a bit better than it is described.
