Pittsfield, Mass: E. P. Little, 1844. First edition. Hardcover. Good. 12mo. 64 (i.e., 68) pp: Pp. 17-20 are repeated. Publisher's black cloth embossed in blind on the boards and in gilt on the spine. Edges and corners worn, binding and text stained but still a good copy. Second Sabbath School Series No. 1.
Scarce; only four copies located in institutions worldwide. Uncommon but significant as it constitutes a very early description of the White Mountains and Franconia Notch, New Hampshire.
