New York: Coward- McCann, 1946. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. 1st printing. Inscribed and signed by the author. The book condition on this first edition, first printing as verified by Ahearn and is near fine with shelf wear to bottom of both boards, and on some other edges. Several inscriptions and signatures from previous owners on the back of the front free end paper and on the half-title. Spine tight, boards rigid and tips pointed. Many b&w illustrations. All present. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped with 1/4" chipped loss at top of spine also some wear at most edges and tips and red stain area on back cover and some dampstaining around rear cover bottom and spine. Now looks shiny and new in it's archival mylar cover..
