New York: The Macmillan Company, 1938. 1st Edition . Hardcover. VG+/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with dust jacket. Both prices are clipped on the front flap. DJ is soiled and tattered with numerous chips and tears, front of jacket has a couple creases running from top to bottom. The room cloth boards underneath show only minor spotting, foxing spots are also present on the exterior page edges. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pages are toned due to age and there is some foxing/spotting, though this is mainly limited to the end pages and pastedowns. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. There is a small red ink mark on the exterior top edge, near the spine area.
