Book shows shelf wear. Scuffing on the edges and corners of the dust jacket. Small tearing on the top right corner on the front cover of the dust jacket. Some creasing and small tearing on the bottom left corner on the front cover of the dust jacket. Small chunk missing on the top left edge on the back cover of the dust jacket. Small tear in the middle and right side edge on the top on the back cover of the dust jacket. Scuffing and small pieces torn off on the top and bottom edge of the spine on the dust jacket. Limited edition copy numbered 760 /2,750. Signed by the author on limited edition page. No further markings on the inside of the book. Photos are of the book we have here at Barbed Wire Books.

The story of the Florence & Cripple Creek, the Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek District, and the Midland Terminal railroads which served the Colorado mining town of Cripple Creek. Cripple Creek was easily the most colorful of the world's gold camps, and did not fall far short of being the most productive. 463 pages with photographs, maps, rosters, car diagrams, bibliography and index, plus three full page color paintings by Richard Ward, with tissue guards. All six maps present within the rear pocket. Near fine in good dust jacket with faded spine and front panels, several small and one large chips and several short tears.

SIGNED by the author on the limitation page. Red boards in dust jacket. All 6 fold-out maps in rear pocket. Filled with black and white photographs and charts as well as several color oil paintings. The spine of the dust jacket is sun faded and the jacket shows some tearing and rubbing. The front and rear end papers show a "chewed" appearance to the edges, extending approximately 1 cm inwards at maximum. This is not evident on other pages.
