Railway Magazine. Hardcover. Very Good/no. This set comprises 24 of volumes , and covers the time 1950 - 1973 period uninterrupted run . The Railway Magazine is still Britain's best-selling rail title. It was first published in 1897 and has been published continuously since. The work was launched by Joseph Lawrence and ex-railwayman Frank E Cornwall who believed there to be an amateur enthusiast market for material they were publishing in railway staff magazines. Very good condition, in maroon publisher's cloth. Later volumes are on original blue cloth. Shelf wear, with some volumes . Inside brigth and clean, tanned edge paper, some volumes have prior owner's inscription. U5T5. 1973
