Paris: A. Maloine, Editeur , 1902. This is a very good hardcover copy bound in textured maroon paper covered boards with a leather spine and corners. The spine has five raised bands and gilt decoration alternating stylized water lilies and a fly. In Egyptian mythology the fly symbolizes death and decay. The maroon leather is sunned and a bit scuffed, but gilt title, decorations and author name intact. Floral endpapers. Red silk pagemarker present.Text in French. Very clean internally. 3 plates including 2 fold-out plates fine. 1er Congres Egyptien de Medecine, Cairo Decembre 19-23, 1902. 10" high X 7" wide, 109 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking. . Half-Leather. Very Good.
