The first edition, first impression. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Illustrated throughout with full page colour illustrations and illuminated letters. This work was written by Ellis Peters, an English author known for her works of history and historical fiction. 'The Cadfael Chronicles' is her best known work and features a character called Brother Cadfael. This work features a collection of short stories about Cadfael, including stories of how he renounced his former life and become a monk. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is lovely with minor shelf wear and slight marks only.
