A rare pair of antique English Hepplewhite mahogany bookcases by HEPPLEWHITE, George (1727 – 21 June 1786), after

These engravings are the only evidence of Hepplewhite's style as no known furniture survives. The designs were meant to be a guide for cabinet-makers throughout England where the book was republished in 1789 and 1794. Small light crease top right corner. A couple of faint marks and short tears in outer margins.
