Chicago / New York: Rand McNally & Company, 1927. First edition. Hardcover book bound in the publisher's original green cloth with a pictorial panel affixed to the front cover. 31 cm. With an introduction by Charles Madison Curry and color illustrations by Margaret Evans Price throughout. Contains "Little Black Sambo" and "Epaminondas". In very good plus condition. Small price written in red pencil to the upper edge of the front loose end and half title pages. No other ownership marks/writing present within. Hinges tight. Interior pages toned at their extremities. A few leaves show short, closed tears and/or creased corners. Light edge wear/bumping, soiling, staining to the covers.
