About This Item

NY: G. P. Putnam's Sons. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1861-1867. First Edition. Hardcover. Volumes 1 through 10 plus companion volume No. 1 (first supplement, dated 1864) . Bound in nice three-quarter leather, with the sort of exception of volume one. That volume is here, but totally trashed. I found a nice volume one to replace it, but it is bound in cloth, so it does not match the rest of the set. You are actually getting 12 volumes, counting the duplicated volume 1. Volume 3 is only very good-, as it has a 2" split at the bottom of the rear outer hinge. Varying amouts of foxing in the volumes. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
