In 1784, the original town of Hempstead was divided into two townships of North & South Hempstead. . Condition: all 8 volumes are VG TO VG-. Texts tight & clean. Page edges lightly age toned. Free endpapers lacking in vol. 3. Endpapers are brittle: vols 1 & 2 have chipped edges & paper tears along interior hinges with covers firm. Complete indexes at the end of each volume.
