DJ states Second Edition, c. 1923; 1st printing- no note of further ones & Doran colophon on title page. 461 pages (last 2 uncut), photos, maps.Rough-cut side edge of text block. DJ (white background, photo front panel w/ President Coolidge & 3 Indians) is Good+ to VG; bright & glossy w/ only light rubbing, soil & edge wear (incl. sm. tears, bit of fray); 1 tear/ fold top left edge of front panel, 2"" tear top of front foldover flap, 1"" tear top of back panel. No scuffs or sunfade. DJ displays well, esp. front panel. This book is uncommon w/ DJ. Book is VG to Near Fine. Red cloth binding is tight, bright & clean w/ little to no wear. NO bumps, rubs, frays or spine discolor. All gold spine lettering crisp & intact. Text is tight, clean, UNmarked w/ v. light toning. NO hinge splits, owner names, etc.; NOT ex library or book club. Very handsome, well preserved copy.
