London, UK: Robert Hale, 1967. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 190pp, some black and white plates. Purple cloth-covered boards; silver titles on spine. 8vo. Board edges sun-faded. Blue stain on top text block edge, all edges just starting to tan and fox. Endpapers just starting to tan. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket water damaged, spine sun-faded, has light shelf wear, chipping to edges, not price clipped. Looks at the history of rejuvenation (man's attempt to stay young) from earliest times to the medical breakthroughs at the time of publication in 1960's.
