Stuart & Stanley. Very Good+. 1903. Hardcover. ; This is one volume of a larger set on drama. Custom full leather bound cover with gilt and color embossed detail on spine, front, and back cover has wear to the corners but near pristine. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Inside covers are also full leather with lovely gilt and color stamping. Limitations page states this is the Aeschylus edition of which only 26 sets were made, this being number D [4]. Title page has embossment of St. Catherine's school in lower corner. Color frontispiece protected by tissue. Pages are lightly toned but clean and near pristine. Color headpiece and tailpiece illustrations for each chapter. Many tissue protected color plates. .
