London, John Weale, 1847. Tall hardback, 12 x 10 inches. In brown cloth with gilt lettering to spine. In very good condition. Rebound in later covers. Small spot to front of cloth with some minor rubbing to rear. No penned inscriptions. Some minor darkening to endpaper opposite title page, all other plates guarded. Faint minor water stain to top edge of first 9 plates including title. A couple of minor handling marks and minor light foxing spots. Else plates all very clean and bright. 21 B&W engraved plates including decorative title page.
