With seven illustrations comprising of three full page plates and four vignettes. Sir John Eardley-Wilmot was a politician and judge in the United Kingdom. He wrote a number of works including an updated edition of his father's Abridgement of Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England. He first wrote his memoir on Thomas Assheton Smith in 1859. Contents clean and tight, marbled end papers, all edges marbled, slight spotting/foxing otherwise unmarked. A handsome copy..
