Scarce today. Not in Adams, Herd. OCLC shows 21 copies, 5 in Texas: (UT [2]; UT-RGV; Baylor; Tx. St. Lib.) Extensive information on the troubles in Texas along the Mexican border, beginning with the Cortina raid in 1859-60 through 1877. Reproduces more than 100 reports, including that of Robert E. Lee, along with documents on the US-Mexican relations, extradition, free trade zone and more. Additional information to that found in the 1876 document of the same subject listed in Reese, Six Score, which he calls "an important government document dealing with cattle theft along the Mexican border."
