Frontispiece, a color lithograph of the Badge of the Army of Tennessee. Laid-in a one page announcement to the Members, and a one page announcement of the death of General John C. Black. The Army of the Tennessee was a Union army in the Western Theater of the American Civil War, named for the Tennessee River. Portrait of Major General James P. McPherson. Text very bright and clean.
