Arctic Series of Publications Issued in Connection with the Signal Service, U.S. Army with 21 plates. 337 p. 30 cm. 21 plates as listed, birds in colour and fishes in b&w. Half red leather with green cloth. Marbled endpapers and text block edges. Some spots to covers, corners worn. Ink stamp and signature on a front endpaper and a small tear in opposite page. Some small dampstains and thumbing to margins. Larger stains pp. 42-Pl. 1. Tear in edge of Part III title. Pl. XII tissue guard half torn out and hole in tissue guard over Pl. VII.
