Binding is a bit abraded; owner names and family library stamps to the endpaper and preliminaries; the contents are fairly foxed. One of the owner names is that of Nathaniel H. Claiborne on the first blank; it has been marked through; the name of Harden Hairston is on the front free endpaper. Claiborne came from notable Virginia stock and was a lawyer and politician. A presentable and solid copy of this early volume of reports. Quite uncommon in the first edition and in this condition.
