About This Item

New York Toronto London Sydney: McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1966. Hardcover. Very Good +/very good. Robert E. Sargent. "One beautiful sunny day two friends, a mouse and a rabbit, were taking a sunbath among the flowers near a small brook. The rabbit for some reason was very restless. He couldn't sit still. Suddenly he exclaimed, "Oh me, I am very tired of being a rabbit." Then he said, "But I am not sure what I should like to be." So begins a delightful story in which the rabbit tries to be a kangaroo only to find "it is very difficult to be someone else for such a long time". Tight binding. No chips, tears, creases or written inscriptions. Dust jacket is not clipped, with original price of $2.75 on front flap. Some small chips/tears around edges of jacket and a 3" strip missing along spine starting at head of spine. Brown coverboards. Pictorial endpapers. Size: Sm 4to (9" to 11").

About Bibliodditiques

Thank you for visiting the home page of BIBLIODDITIQUES - specializing in children's literature, non-fiction, and rare and antiquarian books. This year marks my 12th anniversary in the book trade. I am a graduate of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (2009) and a member of the IOBA (International Online Booksellers Association). I take pride in offering books that are of the same quality that I like to see in my own private collection. Books I sell must meet my own high standards of condition, which generally requires that the binding be tight, dust jackets be intact, and that there be no major defects. I do not offer books that are ex-library copies, unless they are hard to find in any condition. Customer satisfaction is very important to me. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and to send you photos of my listings upon request. Your patronage is greatly appreciated.
