Frederick Muller Ltd, 1938. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1938. First Edition Thus. 260 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Red cloth covered boards with gilt. Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a moderate forward lean. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Sunning to spine.
