About This Item
Approx. 4-1/2 x 11-1/2 feet. Banner. Sturdy cream stock hand painted in multiple colors. Worn to corners, somewhat affecting text; extensive taping to approx. 3 feet of verso; some evidence of painted corrections to recto. Good.
A massive banner mapping the Revelations according to the New Testament, possibly created for a Pentacostalist or Assembly of God revival meeting. Beginning with the Alpha and ending with the Omega, the banner encompasses the "Priesthood of Christ," "The Elders in Heaven," "The Heavenly Saints," and the Millenium, with the different aspects of each charted out. At the bottom, Death, "Hades, the Unseen World," and the "Lake of Fire" await fallen sinners.
*Please note, the first photograph shown here is a composite image -- some unevenness of tone, etc., is obvious at the edges of each sectional photograph, and is not visible on the banner itself. Photos of each section used for the composite follow the first image.
