Coccinelle (formerly: Jacques Charles Dufresnoy) was born in France and as a woman looks somewhere between Bardot and Zsa Zsa, became a nightclub singer, sex symbol and movie star in the 1950s-60s. Her first marriage was the first transsexual union to be acknowledged by the government of France. She was a transgender activist until her death in 2006. The book is comprised of a 128 page interview with Coccinelle plus 64 black and white and illustrations (many cheesecake and topless). Book is a 4th printing/impression. B+W cover is bright but there is a 2" stain/discoloration to front cover by the foot of spine. Crease to rear bottom corner.
