Some modest foxing and smudging, a bit of edgewear and tanning to upper wrapper, faint splashmark to terminal blank verso, otherwise very good. First edition. Inscribed in the upper margin of the front wrapper: "Hon. C. H. Stedman M.D., With the Respects of the Author." Stearns' review is decidedly hostile. SABIN 36924.
