Paris.: Librairie Agricole de la Maison Rustique.. 1883.. 24 chromolithographic plates with tissue guards, 576pp, 10 1/4 x 7 inches, paper covered boards, cloth spine with paper label(hardbound). Soiling to front and back covers, scattered foxing throughout, very light foxing and toning to edges of several plates (toning affects the edge not covered by the tissue guard). Overall a tight volume with bright plates. A year of this important French horticultural journal, with much information on new plants, cultivation etc (text in French). Gorgeous colorful lithographic plates include "Fuchsia Abel Carriere", "Dendrobium eburneum," "Begonia Martiana gracilis," "Onoseris Drakeana", "Peche precoce Chevallier" and "Caraguata sanguinea". .
