Signed inscription by Paine on front blank page: "Sincerely yours, Albert Bigelow Paine, 1/29/94." Also with an autograph letter signed from Paine laid in, to Mr. Graham, Dec. 2, no year: [In part] "I am glad you liked `The Bread Line.' It is good to know that those for whom a book is written, like it, and certainly the BL was for the managers and makers of papers." With pencil name of J.A. Graham on the front endpaper.
