Wear top and bottom of spine. Shelf wear top and bottom of covers. Several stains and wear front cover. End papers have progression of man from pre man to modern man. Front cover has embossed picture of vicking ship in full sail. Gilt lettering on the spine is fading.. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
