About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1949. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Brown paper over boards, pictorial dust jacket. vii, 213pp. Frontispiece, pictorial endpapers. Very good/fair. Jacket quite edgeworn and rubbed and scuffed, with a 1" paper loss near upper right of front panel and large edge chips at head and tail of jacket spine -- but despite this complete and actually not unattractive. A tight, quite decent first edition of the second volume in the 18-volume "Ken Holt Mystery" series, with this title listed second of two titles on both front jacket flap and inner flyleaf list. Rather uncommon.
