An article that originally appeared in "The New Yorker" which chronicled part of McPhee's time in Alaska and what would become his book, "Coming Into the Country." Produced in an edition of 176 copies, 150 numbered copies in wraps and 16 hardbound copies that were lettered, this copy is not numbered, but marked "O.S." and signed by McPhee on the colophon. 28 pp. 8vo. Marbled paper wraps with a pasted paper label enclose a blue heavy card stock cover. Light soiling from shelf wear, very clean within.
