The boards have been well protected by its jacket and are clean and bright with just a hint of pushing to the spine tips. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable clear jacket (not shown) and presents very well. It is surprisingly clean and bright with a little chipping at the head of the spine and corners, a small 4mm tear on the lower rear joint and a 1cm tear with associated creasing at the lower corner on the front panel. There is also a little creasing along the top edge of the front panel. All in all an excellent and scarce 1st Edition copy of this, the first in Rutley's Honor Lang trilogy, an adventure series aimed at girls.
