Hardcover has red cloth-covered boards with gold spine lettering. Black and white frontispiece, plates and maps. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with minor fraying at tips. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Small faded spot at tail of spine. Pages clean and unmarked. 312 pages. Translated by Anthony Watson-Gandy and Terence Gordon. Dust jacket has overall surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, small to 1 inch tears, and creases; cup ring on front; book itself unaffected. Jacket spine is sunned. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
