London: Pall Mall Magazine, 1895. Disbound. Poor. Roberts's Rise of Wellington, complete in 4 parts, taken from the serial published in Pall Mall magazine between 1894 and 1895, while Roberts was stationed in Ireland as Commander-in-Chief of British Forces. Disbound: loose signatures and pages only. All pages present and generally clean with the exception of a few faint smudges not affecting text. Includes a letter to the editor written by Admiral E. G. Fanshawe and published in Pall Mall Vol. V, taking issue with Part 2 of Roberts's article and published simultaneously with Part 4. Black and white illustrations throughout. Roughly 9 shaken 9.5" x 6.5" signatures.
